Daisy Nook

Daisy Nook Country Park, situated between the towns of Ashton and Droylsden, contains the now disused Hollinwood branch of canal which was closed in 1932. The Park is thirty five hectares (eighty five acres), which provides a delightful blend of woodland, riverside meadow, lake and canal. This is a beautiful piece of countryside and a popular walking area. The John Howarth Countryside Centre is situated within the park.
