Dukinfield Park

dukinfield parkThis attractive park was opened in 1902 at a cost of fifteen thousand pounds. It is in a tiered style with some beautiful flower beds at the top of the first flight of steps, and a large play area. The park also houses a bowling green and the unusual sculpture by the main gate replaces a drinking fountain, presented by Sir Arthur and Lady Nicholson, which was stolen from the steps.
