This beautiful building was designed using Gothic influences. It was opened on the fifteenth of June in 1901 and cost fifteen thousand pounds.
Many different people were involved in creating the Hall and they came from all over the country. The plans were drawn out by an Ashtonian architect, the clock was designed in Whitchurch and the five bells came from Loughborough.
Today the Town Hall is a striking Registry Office and leisure centre.
