Etherow Valley

The Etherow Valley consists of woods and pasture land with attractive stone built villages, nestling under the hills. The River Etherow, which has five reservoirs in it's first few miles, divides Longdendale from Derbyshire and Stockport.

Lymefield Visitor Centre is a popular base for countryside warden service activities and houses a variery of information and exhibits on wildlife in the area.
