The Tameside Trail

This trail is a forty mile, circular walk, roughly following the borough boundry and crossing the canal at Division Bridge on Calf Lane. The trail covers some areas of recognised beauty and interest, such as the Tame Valley and numerous country parks

The Blue Plaque Trail

This interesting and informative trail, commemorates local people and places of historic value, by way of small, round, blue plaques, dotted around tameside. people included range from local political reformers to the famous artist L.S. Lowry.
